8.3 Dockable Panel Of Job

Open any existing Job File in a New window and it will appear as follows

 At the bottom of the screen, there are Six Dockable panels namely Details, Audit Trails, Tags, Execution Status, Mail To, and Scheduled Session.

Details

This Dockable panel gives you the details about the Job such as the name of the OpKey user who has created it, the date on which the Job was created, the name of the user who has last modified it, and the date on which it was last modified. You can add comments/descriptions about the Job in the left-hand side of the Details window. 

Audit Trails

This Dockable panel reflects the details about all the changes done by the user irrespective of the Job  which includes TaskFieldOld ValueNew Value, Time Stamp, and ByUser.

  • Task detail specifies what activity has been performed by the user.
  • The field provides the name of the Data field is modified.
  • Old Value and New Value describes the previous and current value of the field being modified.
  • Time Stamp denotes the Date and Time on which the field was modified.
  • By User indicates the name of the user who has performed the task.

Once you click on the Export Audit Trails icon, a pop-up window will open up as follows:

The Report Name is auto-populated with the Default Value. The Fields “From Date” and “To Date” is to define the duration for which the records are required. You can just select the “From Date” and “To Date” values from the calendar control. Clicking on “Export” will export the details of the Audit Trails to an Excel file.

Tags

Tags are key-value combination added in the tags panel that allows the user to provide any important detail/information related to the Business ComponentFor example, the browser or environment on which the Job has been created. A user can add as many tags as possible in a particular component file.

Getting Familiar with the Tags Icons

Want to add a New Tag? Here is how to do it:

Follow the steps given below, to associate Tags to the Job.

Click Add. A blank row will get added to the Grid.

By Default, a Key Name and Value will be added in the list.

The Key and Value fields are editable and can be updated as per the requirements of the OpKey Surge User.

The Selected or created Tag will get associated with the Job.

Execution Status

This Dockable Panel gives the following details of the Job Session Name: It defines the name of the session.

Executed From: It defines the

Executed By: It defines the name of the user who has executed the session.

Execution Time: Displays the duration of execution of the session.

Executed On: It defines the Date and time when the session was executed.

Status: It displays the Execution status of the session such as Pass, Fail, Incomplete.

MailTo

This Dockable panel allows the OpKey user to add Input Parameters to the  Test Step. It allows you to add Name, Data Type, Default Value, and Description of the Input Parameter. Getting Familiar with the Input Icons

Click OK, to save the value.

The entered value will get added to the default list of values.

Scheduled Session

This Dockable panel allows the OpKey user to provide Output Parameters to the Test Case. Getting Familiar with the Output Icons:


Follow the steps given below, to add Output Parameters to the Test Step.

Click Add. A blank row will get added in the Grid.

Enter the Name of the parameter.

To enter the Data Type of the parameter, click the Data Type cell. The dropdown will get auto-populated with all the existing Data Types.

Click the Associate Step Output Cell. The dropdown will get auto-populated with all the existing Output with of the Test Step(s).  Select the desired output to Associate it with the output parameter.

Enter the Description of the Output Parameter.

Click Save.

The Output Parameters will get added to the Test Step.
