10.2 Execution Result Tab on Dashboard
As the caption indicates, Execution Results gives detailed information about the Results obtained after the Execution of Sessions.
To view so, all you need to do is Go to Dashboard < Execution Result
You will be navigated to the Execution Result window.
The Execution Result window is divided into two parts: Builds and Sessions.
The right-hand side of the window displays the list of Builds available. You can Delete any Selected Build by clicking on the Delete Build icon of the corresponding Build.
You can search for a specific Build by typing its name in the Search Box.
Clicking on the Clear Search icon will clear the Text Written in the Search box.
The Left-hand side of the window displays the list of all Sessions corresponding to the selected build in the form of Grid.
This list includes Details of the Sessions like Session Name, Agent, Plugin, Executed On [Date on which the Session was Executed], and State displayed in a grid format.
You can Delete any Selected Session Details by clicking on the Delete Session icon of the corresponding Session Details.
You can search for a specific Session Details by typing its name in the Search Box. Clicking on the Clear Search icon will clear the Text Written in the Search box.
The Status column represents the current state of execution of the session which can be as Pass, Fail, in-progress or incomplete. Once you click on the status, you will be navigated to the window as shown below
Getting Familiar with the Icons of the Execution Results
Here, in the right-hand side of the Execution result window, there are six Tabs.
Step Details
It displays information like the status, Name, Total Time Taken for Execution. Also, there are two checkboxes Continue on Error and Is Negative.
These Checkboxes displays the settings made at the Time of Execution.
Message
The second Tab in the Execution Result window is the Message Tab which displays the Message(s) provided at the Time of Execution.
Debug Info
The Next Tab in the Execution Result window is the Debug Info Tab which displays the Debug Information (if any)provided of the Execution.
Function Call
The Next Tab in the Execution Result window is the Function Call Tab which displays all the Function provided of the Execution.
Function Result
The Next Tab in the Execution Result window is the Function Result Tab which displays all the Function Result provided of the Execution.
Remarks
The Next Tab in the Remarks window is the Remarks Tab which displays a blank Text Box in which you can write specific comments for the Execution and Save it.
There are two tabs at the bottom of the Screen
Meta Information
This tab displays information about the Execution like Suite Name, Session Name, Session Id, Batch Name, Build Name, Default Step Timeout, Snapshot Frequency, Snapshot Quality.
Tag
This tab displays information about the Tags associated with the Execution.
