18.1 Dashboard

The Dashboard of OpKey Test Accelerator is highly tempting as it gives a complete glance of all its components along with other useful information.

It has five major Tabs as Test Case, Business Process, Business Components, Jobs and Execution Results at the top of the screen.

When we move downwards, we can see a Job Section at the Left hand Corner of the screen.

This Job Section allows you to search for a specific Job. You can filter your search Date wise also. Details of the Job like Session, Agent, Plugin and State are displayed in a grid.

You can view the Artifact Share and Executed Session result in a Pie- chart at the Right corner of the Dashboard.

When you scroll your cursor Down, three major sections are displayed providing information about the Last Executed Job, Currently Executing Build and Currently Executing Sessions.

In the Left Corner of the Dashboard you can see the icons displayed as- [Refer Figure below:]

If you click on the Sidebar Toggle Mode, the Dashboard will appear as-

Now, let’s go through the icons on the dashboard one by one –

Profile

Clicking on the Profile icon will navigate you to the Profile page of the User. The User’s Profile will appear as shown below [in case the User is not an Admin.]

Labels

label in OpKey is a tag that can be added to an artifact.These labels can be used to keep your  artifacts organized. Multiple Artifacts can be assigned to the same Label.

Clicking on the Label icon will expand the Manage Labels Section on the Dashboard.

Getting Familiar with the icons of the Labels-

If you delete  any label, the artifacts  associated with it will not get deleted.

How to create a New Label?

Click on the Create New Label icon, a new label will get added in to the Manage Label section.

Right Click on the Label to add an artifact to it

As shown in the Screenshot above, you can add a new file in the Label. This file can be a Test Case, Business Process, Business Component or Job.

You can also Export all the artifacts within the Label, by selecting the Export option. You can search for a specific Label by typing its name in the search box.

Labels can also be added from Specific Artifact window.

For Example

Let’s suppose you have selected Test Case Tab from the Dashboard then, you will be navigated to the Manage Test Case window

.Here, you have an option to add a Test Case to the selected Label [As shown above].

Similarly, you can add labels from specific artifacts like Business Process, Business Component and Jobs.

How to add a Label in an Existing Artifact?

Labels can also be added to  Existing Artifacts.

For Example:

Let’s Suppose there is an Existing Test Case and you wish to assign Label to it then-

Click on the Test Case icon on the  Dashboard and Navigate to the Manage Test Case window.

Select the Test Case to which the Label has to be assigned.Let’s say- “Create Transaction and Made Receipt

Once the Test Case is highlighted, few icons will be displayed like Open in New Tab, Delete, Rename, Create Copy,Sync and Export.

Now, Click on the Rename Icon. A pop up window will open up

The Name field will be editable and auto filled with the Existing Test Case name.

Click on the Label dropdown. It will get auto-populated with all the Existing Labels in the Project. Select the appropriate Label to which the Test Case has to be assigned.

Click Update.

The Test Case will get Updated Successfully. You can also search for specific Test Case(s) with the help of labels.

Similarly, you can add/Search by labels to other artifacts like Business Process, Business Component and Jobs.

Dashboard

The next icon appearing after labels is the Dashboard which navigates user to the Accelerator Dashboard or Refreshes the Dashboard page .

Business Component

This icon appears after the Dashboard icon in the sidebar Toggle Mode, clicking on it will navigate you to the Manage Business Component window.

You can also select Business Component  Tab to reach to the Manage Business Component window

Business Process

This icon appears after the Business Component icon in the sidebar Toggle Mode, clicking on it will navigate you to the Manage Business Process window.

You can also select Business Process Tab to reach to the Manage Business Process window

Test Case

This icon appears after the Business Process icon in the sidebar Toggle Mode, clicking on it will navigate you to the Manage Test Case window.

Jobs

This icon appears after the Test Case icon in the sidebar Toggle Mode, clicking on it will navigate you to the Manage Jobs  window.

Execution Result

This icon appears after the Test Case icon in the sidebar Toggle Mode, clicking on it will navigate you to the Execution Result window.
