5.2 Details View

Overview

Business Component is a reusable component that can be used multiple times across the same or different Test Cases. These business components are user-actions which can be repetitive as well. Business Component Details view provides detailed information about it. There are six elements in the Business Component details module namely, Input Parameter, Output Parameter, Used By, Audit Trails, Backup, and FlowType which provide details about the corresponding Business Component.

Information:

Information tab in the details view of Business Component allows you to enter your Business Component description and expected result of Manual Business Component. It also provides details about Business Component creation.

Input Parameter

Input Parameter allows you to provide input values that can be used in BC steps for iteration.

When you click on the Add Default Value button, a popup window opens from where you can add input parameter values.

Output Parameter

Output Parameter helps you to save step output which is to be used further.

Used By

Used By tab under the Details View provides details about all the other artifacts in which corresponding Business Component used. Given details include Name, Full Path, Description, Component Type, Impact Info, and Impacted details.

Audit Trail

Audit Trails provides the entire audit history details of the Business Component. The given details include Task, Field, OldValue, NewValue Time Stamp, and ByUser. Anyone can also download the audit trail by clicking on the highlighted icon.

Backup

The backup tab provides the details about any backup activity is done for the corresponding Business Component. The given details include Name, No, comment, and Actions.

The Flow Type

Flow Type is used to call a particular existing BC in BP in a particular Flow Icon.
